Digital Security Authority
DSA, who is CY-TRUST’s coordinator, acts as the Single Point of Contact and the National Competent Authority (NCA) for implementing the NIS (Network and Information Security) Directive (EU) 2016/1148 in Cyprus, whilst also incorporating the National CSIRT (CSIRT-CY). They will provide their existing infrastructure & capacities to form the National CSOC instance of CY-TRUST, also hosting parts of the sectorial CSOCs as needed.
Open University of Cyprus
OUC is CY-TRUST’s technical coordinator. It participates in CY-TRUST with its Cybersecurity and Telecommunications Research Lab (CTRL), and is a state university that already has an active MoU with DSA that targets the common co-development of national SOC/s and Cyber Range training platforms. CTRL physical premises and personnel are also certified by the National Security Authority of Cyprus to carry out confidential / classified work. The Cybersecurity and Telecommunications Research Lab has already co-designed, co-developed and co-deployed with DSA, DSA’s operational SOC (SENTINEL) and Cyber Range, and already carries out co-jointly with DSA cross country training activities, thus being responsible for the same activities within CY-TRUST as well.


Cyberalytics Limited
CBRL is an SME with significant research, development & operational expertise, along with access to mature (market-ready) technological assets, in cybersecurity incident response based on the use (and development of) standardised, machine-processable & executable playbooks. They will be the key technology provider for orchestration and automation in cyber incidents response within CY-TRUST.
Cyentific AS
CYEN is an SME with significant research, development & operational expertise in the area of knowledge management and sharing of Cyber Intelligence in an operational manner & the use, architecture and development standards for describing and exchanging cyber threat information and intelligence. As such, they will be the main technology provider for the relevant subsystems of CY-TRUST to enable cross- functional, cross-organizational, and cross-border cybersecurity collaboration and coordination.


Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry
KEBE has over 8,000 members that come from the entire spectrum of business activity, representing more than 95% of the business community of Cyprus. More than 140 Professional Associations from the sectors of trade, industry and services belong to the power of KEBE. It is an independent organization that operates as a legal entity and does not enjoy any government or other sponsorships. Its costs are covered by the subscriptions of its members and by fees for the services it offers. KEBE will provide CY-TRUST unique access to Cyprus’ SMEs, allowing the assessment of needs, requirements & capacities of (& evaluation of CY- TRUST on) the specific sector.
Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol Limited
EUG is the operator of the container port of Limassol. The Port of Limassol is the main port on the Island of Cyprus, handling 90% of the export and import volumes of the country. EUG is Europe’s leading shipping line-independent container terminal operator, handling 11 million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) at their terminal locations in 2020. While their core business is container handling at seaports, this is complemented by supplementary services such as intermodal transport to seaport hinterland regions, seaworthy packaging and container servicing or repairs. They will be a key industrial representative of the Maritime sector in CY-TRUST.


Cyprus Ports Authority
AL is a semi-autonomous government agency that is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the ports and port facilities of Cyprus, established in 1973. Three oil terminals (Dekelia, Larnaca, Vasiliko) & 6 ports (Larnaca, Latsi, new & old Limassol, Paphos, Vasiliko) are under the effective control of the AL. They will be a key governmental entity representing the Maritime sector of the Republic of Cyprus in CY-TRUST.
Shipping Deputy Ministry
SDM was created in 2018 as an autonomous Deputy Ministry, dedicated entirely to the Cyprus Maritime Industry. The Department of Merchant Shipping which was functioning as a distinct entity in the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works since 1977 has been integrated into the Shipping Deputy Ministry. SDM is responsible for the development of maritime activities, such as registration of ships, administration and enforcement of the Merchant Shipping Laws, control of ships and enforcement of international conventions ratified by the Government of Cyprus, protection of the marine environment, vessel traffic monitoring in the sea around Cyprus and information system implementation, etc. Thus, within CY-TRUST, AL will be another key governmental entity representing the Maritime sector of the Republic of Cyprus.


Deputy Ministry Of Research & Innovation
DMR has the mission to develop and implement a national digital policy and strategy and to participate in forming a suitable regulatory framework, at European and international level, for the development of digital policy; develop, coordinate and implement the national strategy for research and innovation and to supervise the operation of the National Governance System for Research and Innovation; specialise and implement policies in Information and Communication Technologies and e-government in the public service; design and coordinate the implementation of a national broadband plan; provide political guidance and supervision of the Research and Innovation Foundation. As such, DMR will represent both the Governmental as well as the research & innovation sector of the Republic of Cyprus within CY-TRUST.
Electricity Authority of Cyprus
EAC is an independent, Public Corporate corporation established under the Electricity Development Law Cap.171 of 1952 in order to exercise and perform functions relating to the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electric energy in Cyprus. It holds a near monopoly on electricity generation in Cyprus, operating through three power stations with a total capacity of 1460 MW. It also distributes electricity produced by five privately held windfarms. Additionally, individuals, private companies, and the Government own almost 54 MW of solar panels and almost 10 MW of biofuel installations and the EAC distributes the electricity these produce too. EAC is, therefore, the most important stakeholder in the energy sector in the Republic of Cyprus and will be representing said sector within the CY-TRUST project.
